Lion - whatever you say
Giraffe - yes, it is within my reach, incomprehensible but still within my reach
As in the last lines of a certain moment of wordplay.
They answered - We adore you. We believe you. Let’s get out of here.
They stepped ahead, once, twice, then looking over the fence, over the edge, just about to commit a forbidden act, their heads now touching, emerging, coming together, through the surface, light. Trying to smile, if they go.
Then, in an instant, they belonged to no one, finding themselves only in sentences, more than an expression, they disappeared into freedom.
Imagine how lovely that yellow light was, airy, radiant and atmospheric. All is okay with the world. Hope.

First and foremost, we wanted to bring together the physical feeling of comfort and space, the softness of the pure wool sofa combined with the yellow painting symbolizing hope. Our living spaces are more than ever important in these days. Therefore, bringing hope and comfort to these spaces are our main goals of collaboration. We hope you can feel yourself here. It is open to everyone, so come in and experience.
Importantly, we see the furniture and the paintings as a dialogue within a space. And we are interested in how form, structure and design can relate within a visual space. A question we have asked each other is, “how can paintings relate to specific designs of furniture and vice versa?” The answer lies in a symbiotic relationship. We believe they relate through a dialogue of senses.
The painting enhances the feeling of the coziness and firmness of the soft wool sofa. Here we can sit, we can look, we can touch, we can feel. We can even touch the edges of the sofa where the wool and oak materials meet, with the painting in a dialogue beside us. Relating to a space, the wool and oak feel, merges into the edges of the painting, and it all becomes alive. The hope and spirit of the animals jump out of the painting. We can understand them, we can understand the reason for hope. The reason for the color yellow, living within the living space. The living space becomes alive, and we can find hope. Hope in our space of living.
The ‘Wool and Oak’ Sofa, is a combined sofa and drawer cabinetry.
Every sofa comes standard with a shelf behind the cushion and two plugs, one on the table and one on the shelf. Under the sofa and under the table are three drawers for storage.
The Ull & Eik Sofa is designed and made in Norway. The drawer fronts, shelves and tables are made of solid oak which can be delivered in your choice of three oiled finishes. The standard fabric is a wool blend from Gudbrandsdalens, a Norwegian company, who has produced traditional wool fabrics for over 100 years.
Also, if you would like the flexibility of a third seat, Puff-too can be ordered as an accessory and sits neatly on the table to provide an extra seat for a guest.
